Glowworm Terms of Use
Effective date: August 7, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Shed Labs, LLC ("Shed Labs," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of Glowworm. By downloading, accessing, or using Glowworm, you agree to these Terms.
Glowworm and Plex
Glowworm is an independent application and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Plex, Apple, or the owners of media in your Plex libraries. You are responsible for your Plex account, Plex server, network access, and ensuring that your use of media complies with applicable law and any agreements that apply to you.
License and acceptable use
We grant you a personal, limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to use Glowworm for lawful, noncommercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer it except where applicable law permits, or use it to violate another person’s rights.
Glowworm Plus subscription
- Glowworm includes one user-created custom channel at no charge. A Glowworm Plus subscription unlocks creation and use of additional custom channels while the subscription remains active.
- Glowworm Plus is an auto-renewable monthly subscription. The price shown in the app is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting Glowworm does not cancel a subscription.
- Billing, refunds, and payment disputes are administered by Apple and are subject to Apple’s applicable terms and refund policies.
- If a subscription expires or is canceled, your saved channel definitions remain associated with your account, but channels beyond the free allowance may become unavailable until you resubscribe or reduce your custom channels.
Service availability and changes
Glowworm depends on services and networks we do not control, including Plex, Apple, hosting providers, your network, and your Plex server. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Glowworm, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Your content and account
You retain your rights in channel names and configuration you provide. You give us permission to process that information only as needed to operate, synchronize, secure, and support Glowworm. You are responsible for activity associated with your connected Plex account and devices.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glowworm is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shed Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruption arising from your use of Glowworm.
Termination
You may stop using Glowworm at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or others, comply with law, or address a material violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Apple terms
These Terms supplement Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. If these Terms conflict with Apple’s Standard EULA on a matter Apple requires it to control, Apple’s Standard EULA controls.
Changes and contact
We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version here with a new effective date. Questions can be sent to Shed Labs, LLC at nick@shedlabs.studio.
